Earlier this month, Lisa Willis, a 5-9 guard from defending National Champion Narbonne High School of Harbor City, Calif., commited to the Bruins and coach Kathy Olivier. Also, Emma Tautolo, a 6-2 forward out of Moreno Valley High School in Moreno Valley, Calif., had already given a commitment in the Fall of 2000. Willis is a top 30 player, while Tautolo is one of the top post players in the California. The Bruins are also still in the hunt for a few other top high school players. High on UCLA's list are 5-6 guard Nikki Blue of West Bakersfield High School and 6-2 power forward Wilnett Crockett, a high school teammate of Willis, amongst some other talented players. Blue has narrowed her list of schools to UCLA and UConn, while Crockett has four other schools on her list.
