ALLISON ARREDONDO (1993-1996)

Arredondo is currently modeling for the Ford Models Agency. She was one of the best 3-point shooters in UCLA's history. She played small forward for the Bruins from 1993-96. Primarily a perimeter shooting role player, she still holds the UCLA freshman record for three-point field goal percentage when she shot .522 percent. She also ranks fourth among all UCLA players in career three-pointers made and sixth in three-point field goal percentage. She graduated from UCLA with a degree in communications studies. NICOLE ANDERSON (1990-1993)

Anderson is the current assistant coach at San Diego State University. She was a four-year starter for the Bruins and was in charge of getting the ball inside to Bruin All-American Natalie Williams for three of those seasons. She was named as one of the 15 greatest player in UCLA women's basketball history and still ranks in the top five in both steals (second) and assists (fourth). She received her bachelor's degree in sociology from UCLA in 1993.

DENISE CORLETT (1977-1980)

Corlett is the associate head coach and has finished her 13th season with Stanford women's volleyball where she served one year as interim head coach in 2000. The Cardinal is 311-42 (.881) during her association with the program, having won four NCAA championships and seven Pac-10 titles. The four national titles include Stanfords back-to-back titles in 1996 and 97, as well as its current streak of six consecutive conference titles. During her UCLA playing days, Corlett was a multi-sport athlete in Westwood. She received a bachelors degree in mathematics from UCLA in 1981. While a Bruin, Corlett played three varsity sports and was named the All-University Athlete of the Year in 1979. She was the national badminton champion in 1977 and won the Broderick Award for that sport. She was a three-time All-American in volleyball and played on the Bruins national champion womens basketball team. She led her USVBA team to national championships in both 1978 and 1979 and played for the U.S. National Team in 1982 and 1983. In 1997, she was selected as one of the top 25 players in UCLA womens volleyball history. In 1999, Corlett was inducted into the UCLA Athletics Hall of Fame for both volleyball and basketball. Her class included track and field great, Gail Devers and football quarterback, Troy Aikman.

DORA DOME (1985-1988)

Dome, who as of 1998 was living in Hawaii, is currently playing this summer (2002) in the San Francisco Bay Area Pro-Am League. The two-time All-American started three seasons for the Bruins and averaged 19.7 points and 8.1 rebounds per game in her senior season, leading the team to a 19-11 record.

MARY HEGARTY (1981-1984)

Hegarty, a starter for the Bruins during her freshman and sophomore seasons, holds the UCLA record for most assists in a season. She dished out 240 assists in 36 games during her freshman season with the Bruins. She is third on the all-time UCLA list for career assists with 528 behind Erica Gomez and Ann Meyers. Hegarty is the current coach at Chapman University in Orange, California. This past season, 2001-2002, she led the Panthers to a 23-5 record and into the Sweet Sixteen of the NCAA Division III playoffs.

AMY JALEWALIA-SINGH (1991-1994)

Jalewalia-Singh, who was a starter for the Bruins during her junior and senior seasons and was an instrumental player off the bench during the Bruins' 1991-1992 Sweet Sixteen team which went 21-10, was married and teaching at an elementary school in Beaverton, Oregon as of 1999. As of 2002, she is an assistant coach for the University of Portland women's basketball team and is in charge of scouting, recruiting, and working with post players. She graduated from UCLA in 1994 with a degree in social psychology

ZRINKA KRISTICH (1993-1996)

Kristich was a starter for the Bruins in three of the four seasons (freshman, sophomore and senior). She averaged a career-best 11.1 points and 6.9 rebounds per game her final season for UCLA. Kristich is currently (2002) working as an English teacher at La Habra High School in La Habra, California.

JAMIE OENNING-FRIESEN (1995-1998)

(Oenning) Friesen just finished her second season (2001-2002) as an assistant coach and is a valuable asset to the Warrior program. Friesen played four years for the Bruins. She was a team captain as a senior when UCLA advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament where they lost the infamous time keeper error heartbreaker to Alabama. Friesen earned a degree in English from UCLA with a Business and Administration Specialization. She currently works on Westmonts campus as the Public Affairs Assistant. She was married this past summer (2001). Her husband, Mike, is the assistant women's soccer coach at U.C. Santa Barbara.
